    Recommend to  approve the following certified positions for one year limited contracts for the 2023-24 school year pending licensure verification and BCI/FBI clearance:

    6. Classified Staff

    Recommend to approve two extended days for Rachel Outcalt on July 31, 2023, and August 1, 2023, to assist with transitioning.

    Recommend to approve the resignation of Kevin Tilley as the paid 8th grade Football Coach.

    9. Supplemental Contracts and Volunteers SY 2023-24

    Recommend to approve the following supplemental contracts:

    a. Tyler Forry, Head Golf Coach

    b. Kevin Tilley, Volunteer Jr. High Football Coach

    c. Matt Mosher, Volunteer Jr. High Football Coach

    d. Kristina Sanderson, Fall Jr. High Sports Game Manager

    e. Raylynn Mullins, 7th Grade Volleyball Coach

    f. Krosbi Clark, 8th Grade Volleyball Coach

    10. Seasonal Summer Employment

    Recommend to increase hours seasonal summer hours from 6 hours a day to up to 40 hours a week for Caleb Baker, effective July 31, 2023, and throughout the remainder of the summer season.

    11. Van Purchase

    Recommend to approve the purchase of a 2023 Pacifica Touring L for for $40,000 from Mathews Dodge. This includes $2290 trade in for 2005 Dodge Caravan and 2011 Dodge Caravan.

    12. Executive Session

    WHEREAS, as a public board of education may hold an executive session only after a majority of a quorum of this board determines by a roll call vote to hold such a session and only at a regular or special meeting for the sole purpose of the consideration of any of the following matters:
     
    To consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual.
    To consider the purchase of property for public purposes or for the sale of property at competitive bidding
    Conferences with an attorney for the board of education concerning disputes involving the board of education that are the subject of pending or imminent court action.
    Preparing for, conducting, or reviewing negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees concerning their compensation or other terms and conditions of their employment.
    Matters required to be kept confidential by federal law or rules or state statutes. 
    Specialized details of security arrangements where disclosure of the matters discussed might reveal information that could be used for the purpose of committing or avoiding prosecution for a violation of the law.
                Therefore,
    BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ridgedale Local Board of Education, by a majority of the quorum present at this meeting, does hereby declare its intention to hold an executive session on item(s)                   as listed above.
